We are pleased to announce that Tom Sheehan has joined CAI’s Advice & Resolution team as Human Resources Business Partner/A&R Advisor. Tom’s primary area of focus will be operational and strategic human resources where he will be advising HR and other business leaders on issues such as talent management, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, M&A’s, and employee relations. Tom will also be developing an exciting new suite of free member benefits we are tentatively calling "learn and grow," which include tools, templates, training and more on a wide variety of HR / Talent topics. More to come on that later this year!
Tom brings 20+ years of extensive, broad based strategic and tactical/practical HR experience to CAI including HR business partner roles, talent management, employee engagement, learning & development, employee relations, and talent acquisition. Tom joins us from The Pantry, Inc. (Kangaroo Express) in Cary where he has been the Director of Talent Acquisition & Talent Management for the past 4 years. In this role Tom was responsible for developing The Pantry’s company-wide talent management infrastructure and supporting processes including succession planning and performance management. Prior to The Pantry Tom provided HR leadership for Rite Aid Inc. at their headquarters office in Harrisburg, PA. Tom held a number of increasing responsible HR roles at Rite Aid including the Director, Talent Acquisition for the corporation.
