CAI Welcomes New Association Members in April

doug test account pic.jpgWe have exciting news for anyone who is currently an HR certified professional through HRCI or who is interested in pursuing a certification.  CAI and HRCI have partnered to offer CAI members the following benefits when obtaining or renewing their HRCI certifications:


  • Earn up to twelve (12) Recertification Credits per renewal cycle.


CAI members receive three credits per full year of CAI membership (to a maximum of nine [9] credit hours) under the membership category and an additional three [3] Business Credits (one [1] per year for SPHR) under the continuing education category. If your HRCI credential does not require Business credit (PHR, GPHR or CA), the credit type will default to HR General credit.  And yes you're reading correctly, three hours of the hard-to-obtain business credit simply for being a member of CAI! 


The only requirement to receive these 12 hours of credit is that your organization was a CAI member during your recertification period and you were employed during that entire time.  Partial credit at the rate of .25 credit hours per month can also be given. 


  • Availability of a Recertification HRCI Concierge to quickly resolve questions and issues.  Our concierge at HRCI is Bilen Teklezghi,, (571) 551-6742.  Reach out to Bilen if you have any issues with HRCI. 


  • A $50 discount off the PHR, SPHR or GPHR exam fee for each exam participant.


All of these benefits apply to any HR professionals employed by CAI member firms AND these benefit apply retroactively.  So say your PHR, SPHR, CA or GPHR recertification cycle ends on July 1, 2015.  You can apply for the 12 credits for your entire 3 year recertification cycle assuming your company was a member of CAI that entire time (July 1, 2012 - July 1, 2015) and you were employed there the entire time.
