george pic for news.jpgCAI has been flooded with questions concerning the US Department of Labor's (USDOL) proposed overtime rule set to be released sometime after July of 2016.  We are pleased to offer a free webinar on the rule to be held on Thursday, December 17, 2015 from 10:00am to 11:30am.

We are excited to feature Alfred (Al) B. Robinson, Shareholder with the Ogletree Deakins Law Firm.  Prior to joining Ogletree Deakins, Al was the USDOL Wage and Hour Administrator in Washington, DC.  Al will be discussing the proposed rule, its potential implications to business, and sharing his observations and recommendations for employers.  He will also share insights straight from DC as to what the final rule may look like, when to expect it, and the anticipated time frame that employers will have to comply with it.

Additionally, CAI's George Ports and Molly Hegeman will review the results from CAI's recent survey on what employers are doing now to prepare for this new rule.  They will also review in great detail the many options facing employers and provide expert insight on how to practically navigate each path.  Topics they'll cover will include compensation planning issues, alternative work schedules, communication strategies, recordkeeping options, mitigating morale issues, and overall how to manage this change effectively.
